Let’s all take our minds off of the election for a moment and put our energy into sending out good energy for those dealing with much more than who our next President will be, or when will the vaccine for COVID-19 arrive. These people I am referring to are the ones fighting a different battle…facing cancer.
It is not often you meet someone that has not been affected by cancer in some form or fashion. Whether it be a friend, family member or yourself. Everyone can use a bit of help and support when having to deal with cancer. In 2012 Lara MacGregor started an international non-profit organization to do just that. She came up with an idea to share hope through scarves, stories, and research.
On November 14th Hope Scarves is hosting their annual Colors of Courage event to raise money for cancer research and share stories of resilience, love, and hope. The event will be virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but The Hope Scarves crew wants you to know that Hope Is Not Canceled this year.
